To accompany businesses in their mobility solutions, Global Communications presents the rugged ST8 tablet running on Windows 8.1/10 and Android operating systems. The ST8 comes with a 8” outdoor readable Dual-Mode display, which can be operated with fingers and an active digital pen for even more precise input. Also integrated are WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, a precise GPS, 3G/4G connections and a 1D/2D Barcode scanner. Furthermore, the ST8 is water and dust resistant to IP67 and complies with the MIL-Standard 810G.

Dropping a computer from at any height is one of the leading causes of damage. So to keep you up and running in spite of minor mishaps, the ST8 is equipped with a rugged solid state hard drive and designed and tested to survive drops up to 4 feet. For added protection there are rubber bumpers on each corner, a tempered glass, an optical bonded screen and an ABS-casing with an internal magnesium frame what makes the ST8 durable but keeps it lightweight.
